Going to pick up a few things for crockpot cooking today.
One of them being sweet potato casserole. I know its not the same as my mom used to make, but I'm letting the hope I can make something similar drive me. 🥰
Kalani was taken in by the Baldesions just after the Calamity struck; despite being almost an adult when he washed ashore on Val, he still considered Galuf his grandfather and Krile his older sister.
His actual family, he has no memories of and is slowly trying to find clues to his origins.
Sahar is blood related to M'rahz Nuhn of the M Tribe and lived with his parents/siblings before the Garleons stole him from the Peering Stones at a young age.
He then was adopted and lived with an Au'ra couple in Yanxia/The Ruby Sea until he came home to Eorzea around the start of XiV.
Keeping to the traditions of the Moon Keepers, they named him as such.
Raised by an Archon and the Warrior of Light, Ru is growing into equal parts adventurer and book-lover. (Especially old ruins and historic sights) He also has a developing interest in magitek (much to the delight of his uncles)
Seeing the Star Fox demo video and the OoT Trailer really made me happy.
I grew up on both games and cant wait to see what they added to both while keeping ties to the originals.
Aka: Nintendo gave me a legit excuse for a switch 2. Lol
Sahar is a big tea person and equally enjoys the eastern and western variants. (He also developed a taste for Radz-at-Han Chai, too.)
Kalani generally prefers simple drinks, like hot chocolate. (Its really one of his few sweet tooth indulgments.)

Rubh'a is the adopted son of Sahar and G'raha. They found him in the quarantine bay of Ayz Lla as a clone subject infused with dragon blood.
Rubh'a is a very determined young man, stubborn yet warm and affectionate.
Canonly, hes about four years old in DT.
Just picked up God of War to play for the first time.
I have to admit, I am very curious about Faye's point of view, where she is, and how beings like Rue and Frank ended up there as well.
Will say openly: Faye is badass, and I can't wait to know more about her/her story.
