If you have Signal backups enabled: Never ever give anyone your recovery code (and keep it safe; like in a password manager).
If you get a message claiming to be from "Signal support" asking for a code or recovery key, it's always phishing. Don't share those things with anyone.
A new hacking campaign is trying to trick Signal users to give up their secret recovery key, which can be used to access online backups containing past messages.
