This mode of white male identity politics often gets conflated with class politics. It happens because signifiers of working-class identity are inherently ambiguous, and underspecified populist discursive categories like "the people" and the "establishment" strategically enable this conflation.
I want social media platforms properly regulated for the harm their content does - to everybody - and to society. And I want children and young people to be able to make friends and find cool content online. 🤷♀️
