I low-key don't think flirting is even a thing that exists. It's an invention of movies and sit-coms to drive romance plots. Some guys try to replicate it but obviously it doesn't work because its not real.

I feel like the sort of woe is me guys vaguely don't seem to understand what flirting is... flirting exists as social technology because there are social risks to saying romantic desire outright, so you say things that are safe. for this reason, every place is a place where flirting is acceptable
