This is the worst winter I remember for colds, flu and sickness and I am not joking when I say if another of my dearly beloved friends give me a bug then I shall be violently decapitating them. I feel it’s necessary for people to learn.
I think it’s safe to say that @jonnelledge.bsky.social did not approve of the ice-cube French bulldog this delightful Vietnamese cafe placed on my blueberry soda.
I was eating a protein brownie, my day was already sad enough. But no, the universe had to ensure that only *after* I took a bite of my in date brownie from My Protein did I notice that it had mold on it. Cool cool.
Training for my second marathon has revealed an unfortunate truth: I only really enjoy running up to 10k.
Every time my plan suggests anything beyond that I become petulant, sad, and weirdly resentful of strangers out for what I assume are far shorter runs.
This seems… suboptimal.

I know this is the season of being ill, but this year feels particularly incessant. Short brief bouts of wellness punctuating the long periods of various sicknesses.
Not sure what it rn but I've got deep muscle aches and a temperature. So that's fun.
