@columbopodcast.bsky.social Listening to your MacGyver episode. Yes, "Indians" is often used as a generic term. The novel The Treasure of Sierra Madre (film was based on) calls non-Spanish indigenous Mexicans "Indians." It is terrible. The novel's characters are quite racist.
