The Brazos Bend State Park is a connected waterway to my house and there are bike trails littered with gators just chilling. You can ride your bike around them, they are chill af
I would say don't touch a gator but they won't let you, they will scramble away. Unless you're fucking with a nest and then I guess ok don't do that. Standing 6 feet in front of one is a perfectly safe activity
Bear with me here, I'm thinking out loud. Total global petroleum liquids demand pre crisis was roughly 105mm bpd. Of that roughly 21mm bpd went through Hormuz. So we need to make up 21mm bpd. Iran's illicit flows were 2mm bpd earlier now call it 1mm, that's probably optimistic but whatever.
Pipelines at Yanbu + Al Fujairah is about 8.5mm bpd. My estimate of China strategic inventory releases are 2mm bpd. Floating storage + US commercial inventory draws is another 1mm bpd. US SPR is 1mm bpd, other IEA SPRs is roughly 1mm bpd. That leaves a 7.5mm bpd hole to fill.
