I remember years ago when I almost stopped posting my poetry online because I feared no one would understand me. Glad I ended up changing my mind.
There is something deeply dystopian about living in a world where trillionaires live side-by-side people struggling to make ends meet just to stay alive.
Sharing this poem again because I think the world needs these words now more than ever.

A crime committed by one man is a crime. A mob hunting families because they share his skin color is racism. The difference should not be difficult to understand.
“We can’t afford to help people” from the wealthiest societies in human history is such an embarrassing sentence.
