A detail of the painting. Each cobblestone, pavement, building, tree…all of it really, done using liquid acrylics filling the chamber of an Isograph pen. One tone of colour one way, turn the paper and apply another tone of colour over the top. It took me bloomin ages but I was very happy with it.
There's a perverse and infantilist belief among many white people that decolonizing or indigenous means "simple" or "rural" or "back to nature"
