"we are all made of star-stuff", by ash vale, moves from the physical reality of that phrase to the emotional truth that we don't necessarily feel that way, and the separation that can bring.
This. The closet was nearly my casket.
We express ourselves with writing, and many of us don't choose to write about queerness; it comes out in the work. To strangle that is to strangle the art, and then what is the fucking point? To lube up bookshelves with frictionless tripe? To hell with that.

Vibrant, intense, gorgeous, desperate. You're doing yourself a disservice by not reading this one right now!
To our dismay, the artist and author Marjane Satrapi has passed away.
As she wrote, ordinary Americans and Iranians have more in common with each other than we do with either of our governments, which have far too much in common with each other.
We honor her memory and oppose the war.
it's here - my poem is now free to read in Nightmare (!!!) a dream come true for me, truly.
consumed is a little bit of trans cannibalism, gender dysphoria, and bad feelings wrapped up in one small package.
"I dwell on the consequences:
what if after she eats the bad,
there is nothing left?"
my lover has peculiar tastes; her cravings are unnatural. she apologises for her appetite

"Authors and editors also described self-censoringβsome have stopped writing or editing queer books in anticipation of them being challenged."
I don't even know how to do this. I censored myself my whole life. I cannot go back in a closet. That will be a violence done to myself.
