From Southport to Belfast, we keep seeing the same pattern: a terrible crime, followed by racist mobs attacking black and brown people who had nothing to do with it.
These are pogroms.
The politicians and media figures who spent years demonising migrants and inflaming racial hatred have blood on their hands.
We must stand together against this hatred and organise against this fascism.
Henry Nowak was a young man with his whole life ahead of him.
His final moments were heartbreaking: pleading that he couldn't breathe, before bleeding to death in handcuffs.
The police failed in their duty to protect him. There must be real accountability for what happened.
The only statement Tony Blair should be making is a plea of "guilty" from the dock at The Hague.
He is a war criminal with the blood of over a million Iraqis on his hands.
While some have sought to weaponise his death for their own divisive agendas, Henry's family have shown extraordinary fortitude in their grief:
“We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension. We want his story to help make our streets safer for everyone."
