It's just been confirmed that the entire Politics & IR team, plus some other colleagues in our Division (Centre For Energy Law and Policy, Human Geography, and some Environmental Science) are at risk of redundancy. Many, many colleagues across the uni in the same boat.
Politics & IR to be reduced from 6.5 FTE to 5.5. Teaching and Research staff will have research time reduced to 20%. They have also mentioned 'regrading' staff (but not clarified exactly what that means).
