I know there’s an X-Men old timers circuit—Claremont and Nicieza have both done minis recently—but who the fuck is clamoring for a John Byrne book of any kind in 2026? Even the insipid nostalgia of the current X line is chasing the high of Jim Lee and the cartoon, not Byrne.
