Rising temperatures driven by #climatechange can cause wild #cheetahs to change their behavior, including when they hunt. This can increase their chance of encountering other large predators, which can pose a risk to the #cats.

POV: It's bedtime for Peter and Tigerlily at our Centre in #Namibia. These two #cheetah siblings are the oldest #cats at our Centre, rescued back in 2010, after being orphaned when they were just a few weeks old.

During camera trap checks, our ecology team got a big surprise! The team spotted SIX adolescent #cheetahs at Tupuka’s play tree on CCF land in #Namibia! This could be the same group of #cubs spotted on camera a few months ago. A group like this could mean the #cats are group dispersing.
The RETURN OF THE CHEETAH #documentary series, produced by Warner Bros. Discovery in partnership with JETOUR, was recognized with FIVE international #film awards! The second installment focuses on Somaliland, and efforts to combat the illegal wildlife trade.
