They really should give up and rename it again; just call it Rogers Skydome and be done with it. "Centre" is so boring and non-descript anyway.

The ceremonial opening of the roof was done by Premier David Peterson. The opening immediately exposed the crowd to a downpour of rain leading to chants of "Close the roof!"
In 2005, the stadium was renamed Rogers Centre, but it will always be SkyDome to many.
