Methodologically, both positions leverage on theory- and data-grounded #agent-based models ( #ABMs) of housing markets, and explore how forward-looking expectations about climate risk affect propagation of damages. They both also will rely on #survey data to be tailored for these two sister-ABMs.
The 4th “Country Climate and Development Report” summary is out, covering 93 economies, with a focus on jobs.
This report is unique in that it is
based on dozens of individual-country reports, each prepared (and reviewed) individually.
Focusing on averages rather than distribution tails also greatly underestimates risk across all sectors. And focusing on climate change rather than overall Earth system stress underestimates risk even more.
