Our new research has examined the relationships between life satisfaction, school belonging and absence rates among 15-year-olds in England.
The report calls on the Government to take the four steps outlined below 👇

The research indicates that improving school belonging and life satisfaction may help reduce absence but are likely to make only a modest contribution on their own, with a more joined-up approach needed to help children stay engaged and overcome barriers to attendance.
