Last night I held back laughter as a data center exec. told an entire community that the fear around data centers is fake and manufactured on Facebook.
It reminded me of the politicians that told us the main problem with genocide is TikTok.
People are pissed. Energy costs are skyrocketing. Data centers are replacing workers. Communities and the environment are impacted. My opponent sits on the House Energy Committee and is helping create this crisis. We need a moratorium on data centers NOW.

Communities hosting these facilities deserve strong regulatory standards, fair taxation, and infrastructure investments that offset the strain they cause to our grid and the environment. I oppose these and any new data centers until we can guarantee they're being built and maintained responsibly.
