Majora's Mask is popping up, so I'll chime in with my opinion.
It's a great game specifically BECAUSE it's different, and the three-day mechanic is actually quite manageable. The NPCs feel more alive.
I feel like those who dislike it likely haven't played enough of it to appreciate it. Missing out!
