This work was led by members of our group @unihohenheim.bsky.social, @unimarburg.bsky.social and the @greenrobust.de cluster, as well as our colleagues at @terrecolgroup.bsky.social and Uni Bielefeld.
As always you are welcome to join via zoom: uni-hohenheim.zoom-x.de/j/6173934775...
Today, Elikplim Setordjie shared with us a glimpse of her second PhD chapter, in which she delves into the question: Does intraspecific plant terpenoid diversity beget arthropod diversity? The answer: it is complex, but it appears that potential terpenoid concentrations have a role to play as well.
Spring has arrived. Birds are singing, blossoms are unfolding - and so is our Ecology Colloquium @unihohenheim.bsky.social 🌸🌼 Franziska Koch, postdoc in our group, gives the first talk of this semester on „The paradox of the Bryozoans“
NEW PAPER: this review by @chemodiversity.bsky.social, introduces the concept of a chemodiversity landscape, and compiles evidence for emergent properties arising from the mixing of chemical blends from different sources with consequences for ecological functions.

We had a wonderful joint excursion with our friends of @plantecology.bsky.social to the Swabian Alb. A good chance to enjoy the ecological and cultural richness of this beautiful landscape together
upcoming talk in the Hohenheim Ecology Colloquium today at 16:15 Robert R. Junker @rrjunker.bsky.social will give a talk about the Mechanisms underlying ecological stability Feel free to join in via zoom: uni-hohenheim.zoom-x.de/j/6173934775... @unimarburg.bsky.social
Come work with me at the Department of Soil Biology in Hohenheim, Postdoc position for three years. I am looking for someone who will support my current line of research and help establish novel methods of molecular soil ecology in the lab. Thanks for sharing. www.uni-hohenheim.de/stellenangeb...

An exciting day today. Our work, co-led by @mhanusch.bsky.social and @thomasdussarrat.bsky.social was published in Nature Ecology & Evolution. In this review, we explore the concept of chemodiversity and what role it could play for ecological functions at landscape-level. doi.org/10.1038/s415...
