I just saw what this was referring to and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't this ALSO happen to Pibby where Ant00ns made a whole hate animation dedicated to it while ranting it was going to "put him out of a job?"

That one indie animation team calling Hazbin Hotel, Digital Circus, and Gameoverse childish reminds me of this trailer from the 90s for a movie called Blue Planet calling Toy Story and A Bug's Life childish.
Blue Planet never ended up getting fully made, BTW.
