On June 5th, 1981, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control first reported on what would become known as HIV/AIDS. This June 5th, a Friday, ACT UP New York will be marking the 45th anniversary of the AIDS epidemic with a candlelight vigil and march, starting at the NYC AIDS Memorial. Save the date.
