I MUST be overtired, because seeing @kenjennings.bsky.social's slight Clinton impression sent me into absolute hysterics
Oh my god get that man on @makesomenoise.dropout.tv

And I mean.... I really enjoyed doing drums for six weeks.
This is my remedy for being a chronic hobbyist- take a class, scratch the itch, and you can always go back if you love it.
I really do my best not to come off as a shill, but Aftermath truly is such an incredibly outlet and I would love to see more people chipping in to keep it sailing on.
We *desperately* need decent journalism in the gaming space and Aftermath is That Girl™
That’s one way to do therapy, I suppose
One of my most vivid memories is from being a small small kid reading "Strawberry Girl" while we waited in a massive line of people waiting for the Parks and Rec office to open on the summer program enrollment day, since this was pre-internet and spots were first come
I've been going steadily grayer since my mid20s and it's about 30% now. I love it.
But even better, the other day I realized my wife was starting to go gray and I was momentarily like "holy shit we did it" because it was just beautiful to be reminded that I get, if things go right, to age with her
I never really played sports, especially in school (locker rooms, ugh), but during most summers of my young childhood my mom would make me take tennis lessons.
I actually loved it- being a lefty had big benefits- and I've found myself missing it lately even though it's been 25 years
Bangor Parks and Rec has a 6 week Wednesday night beginner class starting up soon, and I just might do it. I miss moving around.
