Inspired by this poster of the BLS that I saw in Folkestone last September, the last three days have been spent following an old BLS route from London to Fribourg via Longuyon and Belfort (albeit using the Chunnel and diverting via Solothurn not Biel/)

Switzerland is not short of trains. A Domino take covered the line from Moutier to Solothurn that has been open a week, a funny Stadler "Next" on the metre gauge line to Bern, and a TPF flirt onwards
