After the morning service today we held a mission lunch, where people were invited to share their own experiences and participate in planning for further outreach. Some excellent conversations, observations and suggestions, which will be collared into a report for Chapter. Thanks to all who came
Yesterday we said goodbye to Solomon and his family as they prepare for Solomon's ordination later this month All of us at the cathedral give thanks for Solomon's ministry with us over the past ten months and hold him in prayer as he takes this next step in his journey with God

This Friday, 22nd May, marks 9yrs since the Manchester Arena bombing The names of the 22 victims will be read during services: Morning Prayer at 9am, Holy Communion at 1.10pm and Evening Prayer at 4.30pm The cathedral will also be open throughout the day to anyone wishing to light a candle or pray
