Utter betrayal.
I swatched some Ferris Wheel Press "Shadows of Mordor" pen ink in wet washes on watercolour paper, and the washes all turned purple as they dried. It was a beautiful vampy red before that (see the dry swatch top right). I am VERY upset!
I need to investigate.
