Below is a letter sent by Tom Hayes, Labour MP Bournemouth East to the Mary-Anne Stephenson at the EHRC, with Bridget Phillipson and Liv Bailey cc'd. The reply will be evasive, no doubt. But I hope it results in some pressure to change.
So many inaccuracies & absolute nonsense - many of which could have been clarified if they even ever spoke to those involved.
But accurate & fair investigation was never the intent. The game was rigged from the start - the intention to dismantle the only affirming outpost of the NHS for under 18s
The media are now picking up this story and reporting it as 'proven harm' to 78 young people.
This is an outrageous lie.
The 78 young people have benefitted from this care.
The harm has come from this ideological investigation, and the impending removal of essential healthcare.
