The problem with Platner’s sexting is he is actually young enough to represent me the two generations younger than me. He is the only one in that category that has the name recognition and money to beat Collins.
Susan Collins will probably vote against Blanche's confirmation as long as he has the votes to get confirmed anyway. Of course she voted -- inexcusably -- to make him Deputy AG back when she was still nearly two years out from facing voters. (Angus King voted 'no'.) tinyurl.com/yz3s85ph #MEpolitics

It's not just Fox News painting this stance as bonkers. Just beneath the surface in virtually all legacy meeting coverage last week was the insinuation that the Platner revelations should weigh more heavily with Mainers than Susan Collins votes. But why? No one ever connects the dots. #MEpolitics
