I have my doubts, I suspect UEB wish to be seen to be ‘strong’, whatever that may look like. But I love my Department, colleagues, students, work and ultimately the university itself. I do not want to be on strike, but unfortunately it is necessary. 5/5
Now the creep has become a flood, and some staff have done little but programmes, timetabling and assessments admin since September last year. This takes effort away from teaching and research, but perhaps more importantly - this workload transfer has been invisible. 3/?

Now with the proposal to make 600+ staff redundant I genuinely cannot see how the uni can continue to function. Yet, we as academic staff are the enemy threatened with a 100% pay deduction for MAB. It’s a very sorry place to be, and I hope negotiations will resolve it quickly. 4/5
