The cast iron now installed at Darcelle XV Plaza is there because it was saved by Jerry Bosco and Ben Milligan, a gay couple who salvaged a lot of the artifacts from historic Portland buildings being demolished. They both died of AIDS in the late 1980s. www.oregonencyclopedia.org/articles/bos...
