AB 715 disguises itself as an anti-discrimination law specifically around antisemitism. While antisemitism has increased in CA, this law does nothing to address it. Conflating antizionism with antisemitism doesn't protect Jewish students, it makes them feel less safe.
It’s not enough to simply to say "no" to Trump, which the incumbent seems focused on. We have to put forth a path in which people’s lives will improve. This means advocating for CalCare, universal childcare, housing for all, and other policies that actually make CA affordable.
I got an @asmrickzbur.bsky.social mailer today. It was paid for by Advance California (a right-wing group) and sponsored by CA Apartment Association (a pro-landlord group). This is who wants Rick Zbur to win.
We are going to the general election. We’re now going up against the face of CA Dem Establishment Politics. While it’s going to be a tough uphill battle, it’s not impossible.

AB 2664 doesn’t protect people’s right to pray, it just stops people’s right to protest. We need politicians who are focused on making California affordable, not doing defense for another country.

With that we were able to defeat 2 Rs, one of whom had the backing of the LA GOP, and one far-right libertarian. We were able to win because people believed in our message that better things are possible in CA. People want to vote for something rather than against something.
Stuff like this helped Trump get into the White House back in 2016. The Clinton campaign used their "pied piper" strategy to elevate Trump thinking that she could easily beat him in a general election. And we all know how that ended...
