Not really. Starmer pursued a strategy that made essentially every political scientist suck their teeth and go 'that's not a good idea', his administration was not centrist (looking Tony Blair when I take my glasses off does not make you centrist)....I don't think polsci will be that troubled.

Seen from abroad it's hard to make sense of what happened to Starmer. Big majority, centrist, fairly united party, no obvious blunders -- and somehow it went off the rail in just a few years. Political scientists will have their work cut out on this one.
