Vermont law now guarantees that transgender people in jails and prisons won't be placed in housing based solely on the sex listed on their birth certificate. It's a vital protection against the violence transgender people in custody often face.

PrEP prevents HIV transmission by close to 100% – but only about 35% of eligible people in Massachusetts are currently taking it. We can't rely on the federal government to ensure access to PrEP. This administration has been hostile to HIV prevention and reckless with public health.🧵
