🏛️ Kıvılcım Başak Vural has received funding under the TÜBİTAK 1001 program!
Her project is going to look at three major socio-cultural changes that have happened in Anatolia over the last 15,000 years: the Neolithic Revolution, urbanisation and migrations from Central Asia. 🦴🧬
🧬 Mustafa Özkan has been awarded the TÜBİTAK 2219 grant to conduct research at Uppsala University, Sweden! 🇸🇪
He will focus on generating the reference genome of the Anatolian wild sheep and integrating it into the pangenome. A significant step for evolutionary genomics! 🐏💻
