The workshop went SO well! The students were very receptive and kind to me. I was surprised by all their energy and enthusiasm for doing even the most difficult exercises. I would love to do more classes again 💗
I'd love to hug my 20-year-old self, tell her everything will be alright, but here I'm in my 30s where the world seems increasingly unstable, where I wonder if I made the right decision to become an artist, but I return to my illustrations and find that hope and happiness again :')
Tomorrow I'm giving my first watercolor workshop at a school. I've been preparing the class with fun exercises and looking through my old watercolors, and I felt a deep sense of nostalgia. Back then, I asked my illustrations to comfort me and pull me out of horrible places...
