In memory of Yasuhiko Saito (d. 11 April 2026, Tokyo), Professor of Demography and a longtime pillar of the @reves-network.bsky.social. He led Asia-REVES and advanced healthy life expectancy methods. A respected colleague and dear friend, he will be deeply missed.

▶️ On 10 March, at a workshop focused on practical methods for calculating health expectancy, participants learned how to implement the Sullivan method and use the SPACE program to analyze health expectancy. Many thanks to Chi-Tsu Chiu (Academia Sinica, Taiwan) for organizing it!
