Thunder at 5am this morning - so loud, that even though I was using earplugs, still made me jump. Then heavy rain, and blessed clouds and cool air until lunchtime. Now it's back to relentless sun and heat for several more days.

A Roman #glass flask in the shape of a #fish.
We don't know what flasks in the shape fishes were used for, maybe the shape relates to the content (garum/fish sauce), maybe they were used to hold oil.

That's the 900 year old Bayeux Tapestry just arrived in the Freight Warehouse, ready for transporting to the British Museum for display. I had a sneak preview and it's absolutely magnificent.
