For now, we’re using the hundreds of datasets compiled by @ourworldindata.org They source data from the World Bank, FAO, UN, WHO, and more, all consistently formatted, which makes it easy for us to connect to their API and use the data with just a few filters.

We’ve tracked A23a iceberg for a while now, but this is our last story about it! Once the world’s biggest (2x the size of Greater London), it drifted north up to 47ºN where warmer waters and seas broke it into smaller bergs, ending up as the world’s largest pool as melt ponds formed on its surface.
