In Rhode Map: The state saw 219 accidental overdose deaths in 2025, its lowest number since 2012, according to new data set to be released this morning at a meeting of Governor Dan McKee’s Overdose Task Force.
Rhode Island has already surpassed its goal of a 30 percent reduction in overdose deaths by 2030.
