I wanted to find a unique angle to emphasize the pachyrhinosaurus bull’s horns. I ended up pulling inspiration from the windmills in Dutch polder painters like Paul Gabriël. The style ended up bleeding into a lot of the color choices as well in a way I’m really happy with.

Here's a T. Rex bored to death trying to bite their own tail. My partner asked me to animate it in stop motion, after she watched a video about the very important topic of "could T. Rex chew its own tail like a dog". The puppet is still a work in progress 🦖

I was honored to create this illustration to accompany the discovery of Breugnathair elgolensis a newly discovered genus of reptile that shares traits of both lizards and snakes. Congratulations and special thanks to the authors! You can read the paper using the link below doi.org/10.1038/s415...
Paraiso Lodge in Costa Rica’s Talamanca Mountains is famed for its close views of fiery-throated hummingbirds. Often overlooked, the lodge’s elevation offers a stunning view of the Central Valley. While it was tempting to zoom in, the added context made it my favorite shot of the trip.

Is it a lizard? Is it a snake? Maybe a 'false snake'?? As that's what its name means in Gaelic! Hello to Breugnathair, a new fossil from the Jurassic of Skye with a curious mix of snake & lizard features, showing that early squamate evolution was complex www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Congrats to @brennanstokkermans.bsky.social on the beautiful #paleoart of this new Jurassic lizard. Look at those horsetails! #sciart www.sci.news/paleontology...
