Sinking deep into its POV, how much bear is left inside of its mind? Is it still itself or is it a mindless zombie? Does it remember its past self? Does it care?

This is the Annihilation bear I mentioned in an earlier post. How it sounds is even more horrifying than it looks. What's the bear (and the prey it mimics) feeling and thinking? This is weird horror I'd love to see in Plott Hound, the kind that haunts you for days.
