A 24-spot Ladybird (Subcoccinella vigintiquattuorpunctata) gets my vote for the cutest beetle larva!
There were hundreds of these larvae last year at this site but we've only seen a handful this year.

This Aphidecta obliterata (Larch Ladybird) larva had really been tucking into the adelgids, with all the waxy filaments it's covered in! From south Shropshire last week #VC40Ladybirds
In Leominster on Sunday, I found several Nephus quadrimaculatus (Ivy Ladybird) in a conifer, which was absolutely infested with mealybugs (I think!). Some of the twigs were white with them! #MicroLadybird #Coccinellidae #Herefordshire

Things I like about this 24-spot Ladybird, Subcoccinella vigintiquattuorpunctata, that I met today:
a. It is tiny
b. It is hairy
c. It has a long, unpronounceable name
At least 60 2-spot Ladybirds at Balgay/Victoria Park, Dundee today in small ornamental garden, including 2 different colour morphs - 6-spot 'sexpustulata' (pics 1 & 2) & 4-spot melanic 'quadrimaculata' (pics 6-8). Few 7-spot Ladybirds around too, & 10-spot Ladybird was in a nearby Elm. #UKwildlife
