Just an aside, but the expected new PM has announced his intention to stand on a social media site awash with racism, antisemitism, sexism and far right calls to depose the UK government - led by the site's owner.

Can't help but feel if some dude went on a mini rampage with a machete targeting deliveroo riders and shouting "I'm doing this for my country" in an English city instead of Edinburgh, it would be all over the news already.
