This was a big important win (especially given the pre-tournament bad vibes) but there's still work to do in terms of their defensive block, some build-up play stuff (they were mitigating that by going long earlier & more often though). Also finishing off chances 😅
I think what helps Korea in Group A is that given the quality of the teams (aside Mexico), the margin for error is much wider so they can make mistakes (& they did!) but not necessarily get punished. Then they have absolute star power in Lee Kang-In & co. to conjure up magic.
Being able to throw on quality attackers like Oh Hyun-Gyu & Hwang Hee-Chan from the bench really gives them a boost in the 2nd Half of games too (you could say Hong could've taken Lee Jae-Sung off earlier but hey, it worked out eventually)
