I wrote a manifesto for making games, and (not) selling them, for #manifestojam illomens.itch.io/no-one-is-go...
It started with calling very genuine and interesting first person exploration games “walking simulators”

A Manifesto For Making Games
illomens.itch.io
NO-ONE IS GOING TO BUY YOUR GAME by ill omens
no-one has ever made a good game with "element" or "elemental" in the title [I'll give TOEE a pass if you think it's good, but that art style has aged so poorly that I wouldn't know]
Mickey 17 was fun. Felt like some obscure 2000AD strip.
Do we know if the Scriptorium tos allows you to use it make band merch
check out my new game Shooting Gun: Heroes of Accuracy

"but this guy is fire and this guy is ice". Yes, elemental damage is an important element of certain types of system. But that is not a marketing hook, and putting it in your title makes you look like a dork.
