Hey folks. Live in a Red heat warning area? Probably not the day to do DIY or anything else that could see clumsiness put you in the NHS’s care.
It’s going to be busy dealing with all the folk who are suffering harm from the heat, and we’d love to not see you there as well.
I have a large enough platform and I have seen people be silly enough today that I feel responsible for saying the following.
During the heat this week:
- Stay home if you can unless your workplace is cooler; avoid travel
- Block out all sunlight
- DO NOT OPEN YOUR WINDOWS DURING THE DAY
London managers: your staff members’ kids’ schools are likely heavily disrupted over this week because of the heat.
