My advice always is that, long term, it's more important that you're enjoying the process of making art than it is for you to be studying in ways that are perhaose more focused but that you hate.

Train yourself out of overusing Ctrl+Z in your digital drawings by practicing in a sketchbook where you can only use pen. When you have to live with the lines you put down, those lines become stronger and more interesting.
