Maybe it would be redundant bc they already did something like that in season one. But with Adam gone, he never got to see the rebuild, and never learned something from it. Maybe that’s what I’m missing.
Part of me is rooting for everyone at the hotel ( including Lu ) to face their shadows and become better for themselves and others around them… another part just want to see alastor destroy everything in grand style for the fun and theatricality of it
You know like in the grinch? Where he thinks he won bc he thinks he ruined Christmas for everyone but then they just gather together and sing bc it’s not about the material things?
So Alastor destroys the hotel in a big theatrical way, thinks he’s done and they just… rebuilt it without him.
