Here in Earth's northern hemisphere, today is the Summer Solstice.
It's the longest day of the year, with the shortest night, and it's also the start of astronomical summer.
But from now on, the days get ever so slightly shorter, the nights ever so slightly longer.
Because Winter is coming.
