Exactly! But from that LLM-style, maybe some researchers might be reading more LLM-created text, & mimic their style even when writing on their own? or: I've always used many M-dashes. I have evidence going back to ~8th grade. Some people have called *my* writing "AI-like" when it is 100% mine.
